Stephen is a former senior executive and has worked in the public and corporate sectors. During his leadership career, Stephen has driven organisational change, strategic and business planning. He has also undertaken significant stakeholder consultation (including community consultation) to better inform and shape the development of government policy.
Stephen now supports business leaders and non-for-profit boards across Australia and the region, facilitating strategic planning workshops, business planning sessions, team building workshops, graphic facilitation, stakeholder consultations and leadership coaching.
Stephen has consulted on a significant number of projects including: grant services enhancement; business processes, systems and mapping; auditing risk systems and controls, and designing new approaches to mitigate risk; facilitating strategic business analysis and the development of short, to long term organisational plans; organisational design and redesign within discrete business units and whole-of-organisation; development of objectives, vision, mission, values (agency and business unit); benchmarking business capability and service delivery against APS, cross-jurisdictional and international best practice.
Stephen has supported organisations navigate significant change. Work has included development of change strategies and best practices; identification and management of change resistance; development of communication strategies and stakeholder engagement (including the facilitation of stakeholders both internal and external); examination of workforce culture and impacts of change. He has been engaged early in MoG change processes to develop systems and strategies around change.
Stephen is passionate about supporting leaders and leadership teams and helping them to better understand their business.
